Bill is a strategist who distills information to its core essence to facilitate change in for- and non-profit organizations.
Bill has over 20 years’ experience as an executive brand and design strategist to the world’s leading companies. Bill’s roles in advertising and marketing were as Brand Strategy Director at JDK Design, Principal of Wilkie Brand Strategy, Strategic Planning Director at the renowned agency Wieden + Kennedy, and an SVP at McCann Erickson, a leading global agency. In the course of his career, Bill has worked for a range of global and category-defining companies, including Nike, Coke, Amazon, Miller Brewing, Starbucks, Burton Snowboards, Seventh Generation, and others. Indicatively, he worked exclusively on global brand strategy for various Microsoft initiatives and on related corporate initiatives for Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. Bill has also worked closely with leading brands in the sustainability and shared value space and with leading foundations on strategic narrative.
He holds a BA from Fairfield University and a Master’s in Religion from Yale University.
