Hope helps to set the firm’s strategic direction, with an emphasis on the firm’s services in global health and development.
In addition, Hope leads the firm’s portfolio in human insights, behavior change, and strategy. This work includes engagements designed to improve human outcomes by strengthening client’s understanding of human’s needs, and supporting clients in designing policy, program, and strategy to meet those needs. Hope has worked in a wide range of sectors and industries, including global health, family planning (domestic and international), financial inclusion, charitable giving, healthcare, hospitality, and retail.
Prior to Camber, Hope was a strategy consultant with Marakon Associates, a boutique strategy consultancy. At Marakon, Hope advised senior executives of F500 companies on growth strategy. Previously, Hope worked in international development, making institutional loans and grants for a $270M portfolio in health, HIV prevention, social protection, and rural development at the World Bank. Early in her career, Hope served as a Field Coordinator with the International Rescue Committee in Burundi and as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon. Hope is a proud member of the Leap Ambassador Community, promoting nonprofit effectiveness.
Hope holds a joint Master’s in Public Affairs/Urban and Regional Planning (MPA-URP) from Princeton University, and a BA in Public Policy from Pomona College, where she graduated with distinction. Hope is fluent in French. Hope lives with her husband, Eric, and their young daughter in San Francisco.
